SAS means to STAMP a STACK!

Stamping a stack is just what my GF's Sweet Melissa and Not so sweet Jennifer did. The first card was one I CASED off of the Art from the Heart CD I got from convention and the other one was one I kinda CASED froma swap at convention (no name on back.)
I love hanging out with these girls and swapping our great kid stories. They make me laugh so hard, and I love that I can be "ALL" me with then- You know the kinda friends you can go bra and pantyless with???
I keep these cards very simple, yet cute because we stamp 14. I charge $15 for 14 cards and offer a $5 discount to my downline on all of my classes.
Have a great HUMP DAY!

You're gonna "Fall" in love with this

Well, I have to say that there are some talented people in my life- Denise Lynn, Dawn Griffith, Beate, and Pam just to name a few. But one of my most favorite (talented along with a list of other positive qualities) is Sharon. She can look at a piece of paper and see endless possiblities. I always ask her to suck her brain out for a day or two and let me borrow it. I attended one of her craft classes and we made this adorable little box. I don't have the pattern for you - but she does over at ACWP. She will send you a whole pack of patterns for a little bit of change. I am using this for the "Fall Something" challie over at Stamp Something.

And, a little bit of humor to brightn your day borrowed from Dawn's blog.

Jesus and Satan were having an on-going argument about who was better on the computer. They had been going at it for days, and frankly God was tired of hearing all the bickering. Finally fed up, God said, 'THAT'S IT! I have had enough. I am going to set up a test that will run for two hours, and from those results, I will judge who does the better job.'

So Satan and Jesus sat down at the keyboards and typed away.

They moused.

They Faxed.

They E-mailed.

They E-mailed with attachments.

They downloaded.

They did spreadsheets!

They wrote reports.

They created labels and cards.

They created charts and graphs.

They did some genealogy reports

They did every job known to man.

Jesus worked with heavenly efficiency and Satan was faster than hell. Then, ten minutes before their time was up, lightning suddenly flashed across the sky, thunder rolled, rain poured, and, of course, the power went off.

Satan stared at his blank screen and screamed every curse word known in the underworld!!!! Jesus just sighed........... Finally the electricity came back on, and each of them restarted their computers. Satan started searching frantically, screaming: 'It's gone! It's all GONE! 'I lost everything when the power went out!' Meanwhile, Jesus quietly started printing out all of his files from the past two hours of work. Satan observed this and became irate. 'Wait!' he screamed. 'That's not fair! He cheated! How come he has all his work and I don't have any?' God just shrugged and said,

Good times, GREAT friends!

Last night we ended up having a PARTY! It was kinda unplanned but turned out to be a BLAST! I was watching my friend Holly's son and she was running late for pick up at our school- so she said "Can you pick up Bryson?" No Problem. Then my friend Judy called and said "My baby is sleeping, can you pick up Elizabeth?" No problem. I had to pick up my own daughter anyways and Trevor. His parents Nancy and Terry, were already over. Well, while I was trying to pick up Elizabethh (we had to go on a hunt for some cookies (?) and then we had to say goodbye to all her friends, and then she had to plan the whole dinner on the green) I forgot about Bryson. Luckily, he headed over to my house and my husband told him to stay there. Then Janelle called- mom to my daughters BFF and said she was on her way. Well, needless to say after swimming, margarita's, and some snacks. We had to invite the hubbies over for dinner. So then they came. I am telling you, I don't thnk I have ever had a better time. My friend Judy is SOOOOOOO wonderful. I refer to myself as big or the fat girl quite often and she got so mad. She is one person who truely does not see people for what they look like- but sees them for what their heart is. My husband instantly feel inlove with her and I fell even deeper. Thanks Judy for all your entertainment and wonderfullness last night- You and your family are welcome anytime! Holly and Phil, I just love hanging with you guys, Janelle- MUAH!, Nancy you are now a sisterwife to many thanks for sharing her Terry!

Hurkey Creek Family Camp

This weekend we went to Hurkey Creek family camp which we do every year with our church- Calvery Chapel Moreno Valley. It's mostly for the kids- they love it. This year we broke down on the way up- some sort of radiator problem which my husband, Steven, and our dear friend, Jeremi, were able to fix with random parts from Kragen. It was SOOOO hot my GF and I took the kids to Ralphs Grocery Store and took advantage of their AC and lounge chair displays. It was quite the scene. Two grown women and 4 children "camping out" in the middle of Ralph's, and of course we had to hit up the bakery for the "FREE' cookies. Then we were on our way.

Friday night was pretty much set-up. Saturday was the down fall of rain which we experience every year- the kids LOVE it! They ride in the rain, stomp in the puddles, and wrestle in the mud. This year we all crammed in L and J's mo-ho and played play dough, domino's, and ate. Then we went over to our mo-ho and watched a movie (I know rough life.)

We came home Sunday evening because our friends were concerned about their brakes and I hadn't been feeling well all weekend. Savannah did get a bike ride in with the group -but hurt herself (scratched up her leg pretty bad) and had to come back. So now I am home and cleaning and preparing for the week while playing on the computer and eating a drumstick (that makes it all better.)
