5th Avenue Stamp Set

I ususally don't go for this type of stamp set but for somereason this one drew to me and I LOVE it! Fifth Avenue Stamp Set is big and subtle for great backgrounds, scrapbook pages, and delicate looking cards.

Wish I could give you the item number..... but I can't cuz' I don't have my catalog yet!!!!!

SCS color challenge, MOJO Monday challie, and Crafty Monkey Challenge

Three cards - wow- so much fun.... Shawn was at preschool and me and baby girl stamped! Savannah was so cute making her card- she has no depth or width perception yet-I was cracking up.... but she created her card for Crafty Monkey using a button and the SCS Color Challenge. I love when she makes cards and we can give them to her friends for thier birthdays.

My first card was using the SCS color challie which was Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango and Summer Sun. I used the soft summer stamp set from SU!.

My second card was for the Monday Mojo sketch challenge. Here is the sketch and my card. The stamp was the turtle from the Whimsey animal collection and the saying was from the great friend stamp set from SU!

Savannah's Piccaso's Piece

YAHOO!!!! It's summer and I am off for 2 and a half months!!!!!

Lots of trips to D-Land and the beach!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all the wonderful daddies out there including mine and my DH!

We had a very productive week.... I got all the doctor appts outta the way and we hit Target and Sam's club today- so I am set!

Here is a pic of the Father's Day card I made for my dad- I didn't make my husband's yet- I know bad.... but hey one out of two isn't too bad!

My girlfriends and I usually have a scrapbook competition of who can scrap the most pages during the summer but since I am the only one who barely still scrapbooks I guess I am on my own. Here are a couple of the pages I have made already.

Here is my Girl Scout Troop at the Heritage House planting and harvesting some of our hard work- we have got a beautiful garden growing there. Sat 6/20

Stevie had his baseball party Sat 6/20 at our house and here he is with his trophy- he was most improved!!!!!

And last but not least a pic (maybe our Christmas picture) of my kids at Doheney where we were camping last weekend.... whew! Loving life!

Well- again no bloggin for a while- but you have to do what you can and deal... I am learning to say no to some things and not get discouraged when I can't do everything.... cuz' though I might think I am SUPERWOMAN- I am not!

Yesterday we had two birthday parties - Gavin (5) and Kasey's (10)

Gavin was at my friend's Leahs house and Kasey's was at the beach- Bolsa Chica. Today we are having a little BBQ and visit with a teacher who left- Miss Lisa (see post below)

Thursday night I had my Sweet club and we made these three cards.

Last Saturday we had our Shoebox swap and made these cards.

TTFN Miss Lisa

Well, Today one of the best teachers ever known to RCC- ECS has lef to begin a new chapter in her life's book. She is going to be a child's life specialist, which she will be wonderful at! Here is a picture of her with my class. We will miss you!

Look what my Debbie made me

My friend Debbie goes to a very talented SU! demonstrator and I love to steal all her ideas, but I really love when Debbie goes to a class and she GIVES it to me for a b-day present! This was a huge cupcake bag filled with four adorable cards. Thanks Debbie I LOVE it!

Look what my Sharon sent me

I ALWAYS love when my Sharon calls or emails and says I sent a little something to you! This was such a wonderful surprise hat I got about a week after my b-day. She is so talented and I just can't say that enough. I so needed a little book to keep some cards on hand. I have tried over the past years to send out a couple a week- but haven't really stuck to that- maybe this will help! Thanks GF! Love you! MUAH!
