Card Swap this Saturday

I am so excited that we are FINALLY having a card swap this Saturday and I have a couple of new gals that I met at a scrapbook day :)

All you have to do is design (A very wonderful) card and cut all the supplies for it for at least 8 people and then bring your adhesive, scissors, and cutter to my house and we go around making each others cards. We all bring a dish to share..... what could be better than friends, food, and stampin????

If you are anywhere near the riverside area we would LOVE to have you!

Day 12- Why I have a blog, how did I find out about blogs???

I found out about typepad blogs that are $4.95 a month from my friend Sharon Rivera (check out her amazing work on her blog) but then I found out about blogspot for free! I was already a journaler and scrapbooker so of course I wanted to start a blog. I tried doing 2 blogs one for family and one for crafts but geesh... I just couldn't keep up... so I combined them (even though I don't like how my friends have my blog as Samantha's stampin blog on thier blog instead of the Esqueda family blog...but whatever!)

Day 13- A letter to someone who has hurt me.

I am sorry that I gave you advise that you didn't like after you asked me for advise. Sometimes that is just how life is. I really can't believe that it was enough to ruin a great friendship and wonderful times. I hope that someday you can forgive and hope that when you say something to someone that they don't agree with that they forgive you and allow you to still be in thier life. I am sure that that has already happened- since no one is perfect and we all say stuff that is offensive or what other don't believe to be true, to others sometimes in our life. You may not even know about it becasue the person moved on and didn't even mention it. I know sometimes friendships are better ended when there are a lot more problems than good times, but I didn't feel that was the case with us. I wish you and your family well.

To lose 5lbs. So hopefully I can make 20 by April. For Steven to get a JOB!

My daughter turned the sled and took a pole in her side to save her little brother from getting hurt!

IDK! I like all different songs on different days.

MDS (My Digital Studio) Snow Play Days

I am so in love with MDS. It is so user friendly and cost efficient. NO MORE trips to craft stores, no more high priced paper and embellishments. Now I have them all for FREE right on my computer! I went to the snow yesterday and I have all my snow pictures scrapped today in about 1 hour.... and they are so stinkin cute! Snow Play 1/8/11

Day #4 and some Valentines

Day #4 is a habit I have and I wish I didn't. Well, since it is the New Year I posted my New Years Resolutions and thought about this very seriously. My first bad habit is FOOD! I really wish that I had better control over it. I am learning but geesh it is really difficult. Another would be money spending. A good thing comes from a bad thing and since Steven has been out of work for over 2 years and then this last summer I was laid off, I have really had to learn to control my spending. I am still struggling.... but getting better everyday! Finally, gossiping and saying mean stuff. I don't know why I do... but I do. I have been working on this for the last few years and have gotten a lot better, but still need to keep myself in check. Ok so on with the more fun stuff. Thanks for listening (or reading actually) I don't journal in a book, so I also do this blog for a memorabilia for my children. I think it is good for our children to know our struggles, temptations, and failures.

We also went to Apple Bees tonight for a Fundraiser dinner and then over to the Art Museum to see Savannah's Art Work that she made at school. We also took our neighbor, Grant, with us. They are in the same class. One night a year they display all the students artwork in the Art Museum. It is so neat.... they get all excited and name their pieces and talk about selling them for $1,000,000,000. So cute!

Yesterday was my dad's 81st birthday and we went out to dinner and celebrated at Claim Jumper. When he came over today we surprised him and my daughter with Angel tickets!

Day 2 of 30 days of blogging- What's behind my blog name? Well, I started stampin a long long time ago and I was at my nephew's house with his (ex wife Gracie :( and we were talking stamping and he said "What's with all this stampin stuff... next we're gonna have WEST COAST STAMPERS! and Wallah! A name was born and stuck with me! I was fun with paper for a while also but I liked WCS! and the ESQUEDA family thing is because I can barely keep up with one blog...let alone having another one for family stuff... so my friends and stamper buddies get a little piece of my world which consists of stamping, scrapbooking, and my family!
